FAQs
If I book a Power Hour session, is Mairin my lawyer?
No, Mairin is not your lawyer and no attorney/client relationship is formed. The scope of the engagement is limited to the 60 minute Power Hour session.
Can we review my contracts during a Power Hour?
We can discuss specific questions you have about your contract, but contract review is intense, in depth, and takes longer than an hour. If you need your contract reviewed, please email us at hello@solivagantlegal.com.
What if we don't have time to answer all of my questions?
Power Hours are designed to be as efficient as possible. Once you click the button above, and choose your date, you’ll be taken to an intake form. I (Mairin) will review your questions ahead of time, so every minute of your session is maximized. If you need more time, or we determine you need a more extensive audit or custom documents, we can discuss moving forward at my hourly rate.
I'm not based in the U.S. Can I still have a Power Hour?
Yes! Many of our Power Hour clients are from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK and the EU. As long as your questions are not about trademarks in your country, you can benefit from a Power Hour. For example, all of Solivagant Legal contracts can be used in any country. We can answer questions about your contracts. We cannot, however, answer questions about employment law, tax law, or trademarks in countries other than the US.
I have a question about tax/real estate/non-business related matter. Can we discuss in a Power Hour?
Sorry, no. We can answer questions about business law-from contracts to insurance to intellectual property-but we cannot answer questions not related to business law.
Do you offer refunds or postponements?
No refunds. If I think from your answers on your intake form, what you’re asking is too much to accomplish in 60 minutes, I will contact you to decide next steps.
Unfortunately, due to extremely limited availability, we cannot accommodate requests for date or time changes. In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to accommodate postponements with prior written notice, but this is entirely dependent on Mairin's availability and is not guaranteed.
